REFUTING ANNIHILATIONISM

kirk cameron is wrong 2:THERE IS NO MERCY for Damned in Hell being annihilated Other errors refuted

In his first video Kirk Cameron says he thinks annihilation "fits the character of God in my understanding more than the the conscious eternal torment position because it brings in the mercy of God together with the justice of God!.

This is simply error. NO WHERE IN THE SCRIPTURE IS MERCY APPLIED TO THE DEAD LET ALONE THE WICKED DEAD! This is humanist thinking creeping in to his theology. Mercy is for the living not for the dead/ The mercy of God is shown to all men in Christ dying for them on the cross. The mercy of God is shown in God giving them opportunity WHISLT THEY ARE ALIVE,  to escape eternal Hell, Eternal conscious torment by having their sins forgiven and coming to Christ and inheriting eternal life as opposed to eternal death-ECT

Annihilation is not a punishment. Non-existent people don’t experience anything after going out of existence. This cheats the divine wrath and justice and holiness of God that must inflict pain and suffering upon eternal sinful rebels.

Annihilation is not punishment, annihilation is non existence. This is not punishment. Souls who are yet to be born are not punished because they don’t exist yet; but God knows they will at some future time be. In the similar way being annihilated although final is not punishment the infliction of pain on the deserving everlasting rebels. Non existence means no suffering for them, no regret for their sins, no worm that dieth not. No flames, no sense of loss and regret, no rejection by God;  no they do not experience any of these cause they don’t exist. However this state of  non existence cheats the divine justice and holiness of |God that must be exacted externally on conscious existent wicked beings who  have chosen this state of eternal rebellion against God in choosing evil and sin ; who exist in a state of permanent rebellion loaded with sins. Eternal anger, wrath and justice is only exacted on beings who are alive who deserve and warrant Eternal conscious torment. They warrant this punishment because

1. They die in a state of eternal sin, it still exists in their souls /spirits are still laden with the sins they have committed because the blood of Christ was never applied to their lives while on Earth- THIS MERITIS ETERNAL CONSCIOUS TORMENT TO PAY FRO THESE SINFUL STATE OF BEING WHICH COULD OF BEING AOVIDED BY THEM

2. Their sins are sins against an infinite God to  who they now Know exists; They have infinitely offended his divine holiness and  are without remedy having rejected Christ the sacrifice for their sins- this means that they must be eternally punished in a conscious state of living existence... this punishment is eternal conscious torment

|

3. There is evidence to suggest that they commit further sins and blasphemy and rail against God being in Hell;,  these new sins have to be punished and they are punished by eternal conscious torment

4. God’s wrath is his infinite abhorrence and anger against sinners for their sins and  for their rejection of the infinite sacrifice of Hs son WHO DIED UPON THE CROSS FOR THEM. Why is it inconceivable to men  that the Divine anger and holiness of God can only be satiated in keeping souls alive to experience it forever in the flames of eternal conscious torment in Hell?. Not even God can be angry with souls that don’t exist! No They are keep in existence so that the divine anger wrath holiness is satisfied and just in that it inflicts eternal conscious suffering on deserving creatures whose sins are infinitely grievous against him and who have rejected the infinite sacrifice of his Son!

5.Even if it is true which I doubt that the notion of immortal soul was borrowed from Plato, this proves nothing. men have knowledge of God and even of some spiritual realities Acts 17: 38 Romans 1:28-26.
